「Free 21（21を開放しろ」がSNSのヒップホップ・コミュニティ上で広まる中、一部の人たちは更に徹底した分析を行っている – I.C.E.による21の逮捕は、I.C.E.が「一度別れてしまった移民の子供たちを家族と再会させる方法はない」と認めたと報道されてから24時間以内に起きたものである。彼の大ヒット中のシングルでは移民の子供たちについてラップしたラインもあるため、逮捕の目的を問うファンなども見かけられる。
